Brief History:
The Masked Grappler is a very old school wrestler. His age is unknown but he is on record of being involved in some of the very first professional wrestling matches in a ring with ropes. He was the first wrestler to cut a promo against his opponent and he claims to have outlived every man he has faced during his career. He keeps in shape by eating the right foods, nothing microwaved, and he swims everyday, including jumping into the coldest of rivers and lakes during the winter months to revive his body.
In 1953, The Masked Grappler swam to Japan to wrestle a match. It is said that it took him all of 2 days to swim the length of the Pacific Ocean to get to Japan. He then wrestled Yukihiro Sakeda to a 4-hour draw. The Masked Grappler then packed his bags and swam back to the United States the same night.
Being one of the very first men to wear a mask in the ring, he, to this day, teaches wrestlers from all over the world to tie their masks tightly, so they will not be so easily ripped off or fall off during matches. It is said that he has trained all of the Mexican and Japanese wrestlers to tie their masks, including the original Rey Misterio, El Hijo Del Santo, Tiger Mask, Black Tiger Curry Man, Pegasus Kid, Jushin Thunder Liger, and Mil Mascaras.
During an exhibition match in 1957 for a sideshow circus, The Masked Grappler wrestled and defeated a large brown bear named CoCo Thunder to win the Midwest Wrestling Championship. The Masked Grappler surprised the crowd by making CoCo Thunder tap out to the Iron Claw. This solidified Grappler with having the strongest hands in the world, if he could make an adult American brown bear submit. Thus, the Guinness Book of World Records were called in to record how powerful the hands of Grappler were. They tested his hands by having him fold an iron skillet up like a burrito. Then they tested his hands out by having him rip rubber tires to shreds. Spectators were amazed as he ripped the tires like school paper. The last test came when Grappler dismantled an airplane wing by repeatedly chopping it from the body of the plane. To this day, Grappler is still the record holder for having the strongest hands in the history of mankind. With those hands, some 20 years later, Grappler made Andre The Giant submit to the Iron Claw.
The Masked Grappler is in semi-retirement, as he's been studding. He has 43 children, 132 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, 51 great-great grandchildren, and 45 great-great-great grandchildren. It is even rumored that Grappler has sired additional children with a few of his grandchildren.

“Last Night When We Were Young” by Frank Sinatra plays for a while, giving an old school vibe off into the arena, settling everyone. Then the curtain moves a bit and then the masked superstar of the Golden Era of professional wrestling makes his way down the aisle. He walks his way up to the ring, looks at his opponent and walks up the steps. Before he enters, he wipes the soles of his boots off on the apron to show respect for the canvas and then enters the ring. He paces around the ring while slapping at his arms and shoulders and then he tests out the ropes, then waits in the corner for the bell to ring.

Sample RP:
The scene opens in black and white as IPW’s newest signee, The Masked Grappler is ready to do an interview.
Masked Grappler: Grappler here, and I want everyone know that I’m the newest wrestler and purest wrestler to sign with the ‘submission only’ wrestling federation, Intensity Pro Wrestling.
There are small flickers in the footage, as it looks like the interview is done on old tape.
Masked Grappler: You young whipper-snappers should watch out as the wrestler from the Golden Age of professional wrestling is gearing up for another run at being famous. And when I say young whipper-snappers, I’m talking about the four young men that will be in IPW’s very first match. That means, I’m talking about “The Man of One Million Moves” Anthony Scarbrough, “The Global Phenomenon” Kurt Sheridan, DJ Styles, and “The Underdog” Matt Bilar. None of these four youngins experience match up to my experience. I’m going to------
The footage breaks up a bit, disrupting Masked Grapplers promo.
Masked Grappler: ----understand me. Each and every one of you better look in the archives of this sport that you chose to make a career out of and find matches of me. I am what you strive to be, and that’s the very damn best professional wrestler that God put on this Earth. I will sit back and wait for the winner of this historic match in IPW to scout all participants. I am a historian of this sport, and I know everything and I’ve seen everything. There isn’t one man that will participate in that four-man match up that can make me submit.
There is a small jump in the footage…..when it returns, Grappler is holding the wrist of his right hand and puts the Iron Claw up to the screen.
Masked Grappler: ----Claw!!! Beware of the strongest hands in the world; Guinness Book proven. No one in the history of professional wrestling has escaped my Iron Claw, not even Andre The Giant could withstand the most powerful grip in all thee world. This is my messa-----.
Another jump in the footage.
Masked Grappler: ---any of the four men. No matter whom it may be, YOU will feel the pain that the greats in this business has felt. At Monday Night Intensity, the winner of that match will be the loser. The winner faces me at an undetermined date and time, that winner will lose to me and………….THE IRON CLAW!!!!
The footage begins to flip and roll then it freezes with Masked Grappler holding the Iron Claw to the screen.
